2-14-10: Well, yesterday I was well-rested for my morning workout. Today, I was not. Since I stayed up till 4:00 with my brother playing a wonderful little board game called Agricola (All of the excitement of being a farmer in the comfort of your own home. Hmm…no it really is a lot of fun). Since it was a hang out with the family day, I still needed to get up somewhat early to do the workout before running out with them for lunch.
Thus, I was sleepy when doing the workout. Though, not horribly sore, nor muscle fatigued. Actually felt good and pushed hard in many areas of the wonderful Plyometrics routine today. Still close on the warm-up. If I just held back a little bit on a few of the exercises in the third iteration, I could do it. But this is not the Shaun T way. I know that I would be cheating if I did it that way. And, more importantly, Shaun T would know. And Shaun T would not look kindly upon it. Still, really close. A few seconds of jumping jacks, a few seconds of the Heisman, and maybe 10 seconds of the Mummy Kicks. And the 1-2-3 Heisman was not as fast as it needs to be.
I also pushed a little harder than normal at the actual workout. The Ski Downs still get me, but even those aren’t quite as bad. The Ski Abs and the subsequent drill are my new objectives. It is nearing the end of the workout so doing a lot of plank position crazy leg jumping to the left, right and sprints is brutal. That being said, definitely felt improvement this time around and definitely a good workout.
